About Ahmad Zahir
Afghan music icon who recorded more than thirty albums during his short-lived career. He died in a car accident at just 33 and is remembered in Afghan popular culture for his anti-Marxist views.
Early Life of Ahmad Zahir
He played accordion while attending Habibia High School in Kabul.
Many of his recordings were destroyed by the Afghan government due to the anti-government commentary found in many of his lyrics.
