✦ Left handed or a right handed?
Let us know if Left Handed or Right Handed. That’s the only way we can improve our services and categorization.
Dr. Adnan Ibrahim is an Imam living in Austria, He is originally from Palestine. He is famous of his “Revolutionary thoughts” concerning Islamic religion. And many traditional scholars talk against him especially the Salafi sect.
Yet, the man has a wide number of supporters in Arab world and Europe. especially young people.
I watched some of his Khotab and series, and as I see it, I can’t describe his thought as revolutionary, because he is not coming up with new things (in religion). It is just that there is certain opinions in Islam that are buried hundreds of years ago. Dr Adnan has revived and revealed these thoughts and opinions to the public.
I give an example:
Dr Adnan said that a person who left Islam shouldn’t be killed. Many scholars made a chaos accusing him for “telling weird things” that are not in Islam. and they defend the option of killing as the only option there!
But, when anyone go back to the Islamic sources, you find that Dr. Adnan Ibrahim was not the first one who said that. Sir Nakha’i (from the second generation), Sir al-Thawri (َA second generation scholar) , and Sir Omar Ibn Al khatab (A first generation scholar); all of them (and others) have talked against death punishment of those who left Islam.
But for some reasons, this opinion was buried, then Dr. Adnan comes up and tells the truth about our history, and that the case is under the Khilaf (Disagreement between scholars) . and when there is a Khilaf, you cannot punish people, Especially is the punishment is death!
The same for Stoning for man/women who committed adultery
