English actress who appeared in the television series To the Manor Born as Marjory Frobisher.


She lived in India until she was five years old and then moved to England where she later trained in acting at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.


She provided her voice for the role of Elizabeth II in a film adaptation of Roald Dahl s book The BFG in 1989.
