About Antony Blinken

Foreign policy expert who served as Deputy National Security Advisor and Deputy Secretary of State from 2013 to 2017 under then-president Barack Obama. He was later nominated by Joe Biden to be Secretary of State in 2020.


He earned a bachelor s degree from Harvard University. He obtained a Juris Doctor degree from Columbia Law School. 


He served in the State Department during Bill Clinton s presidency in the 1990s. He is a member of the non-profit foreign policy think tank Council on Foreign Relations.
