Screenwriter who is best known for penning romantic comedies, including notable films like The Truth About Cats & Dogs, Under the Tuscan Sun and Guinevere.


She completed her studies at UC Berkeley and UCLA before starting her career.


Her 1999 film, Guinevere, won the Waldo Salt Screenwriting Award at the Sundance Film Festival.
