About Calvin Richardson

Grammy nominated singer-songwriter and R&B recording artist who released the album I Am Calvin featuring the single “We Gon Love Tonight” in 2014, his first album in 4 years.


He was part of an R&B group called Undacova before launching his solo career in 1999 when he released his neo-soul debut album Country Boy.


He co-wrote the Charlie Wilson Grammy nominated song “There Goes My Baby” with Kenneth Edmonds and Daryl Simmons and has collaborated with other artists such as Angie Stone, Raphael Saadiq, Chico DeBarge, Claudette Ortiz, and K-Ci & JoJo.

Born and raised in Monroe North Carolina, he had a very musical upbringing, singing in his mother s local gospel group as a young boy.
