About Jay Owenhouse

Magician and illusionist who is known for hosting and operating the second largest touring magic show throughout the United States. He is known for his performances inspired by Harry Houdini and for utilizing tigers and other dangerous elements during his escape routines. 


He first saw a magician at the age of four which inspired his passion. He then started performing his own shows at the age of fourteen. He then attended Montana State University where he studied psychology. He founded his own magic company in 1990 after graduating from college. He gained further attention when he starred on the series Masters of Illusion alongside Harry Blackstone Jr.. 


He is also known for his television appearances and starred on the Fox series Magic on the Edge where he performed the Water Torture Cell illusion.

He was born and raised in Alameda County, California. He later settled in Bozeman, Montana and has four children names John, Peter, Juliana, and Christina.
