About Rick Mast

Former NASCAR driver who amassed nine victories during his Nationwide Series career. He retired after suffering from carbon monoxide poisoning in 2002, prompting NASCAR to redesign the vehicles used in races.


He got his start racing at Natural Bridge Speedway and Eastside Speedway at sixteen.


He was a stunt driver for scenes filmed at the Daytona International Speedway for the 1990 film “Days of Thunder.”
