About Gordon Hayward

Small forward who was selected 9th overall by the Utah Jazz in the 2010 NBA Draft. He made his first NBA All-Star Game in 2017. After spending the first seven years of his career in Utah, he signed with the Boston Celtics prior to the 2017-18 NBA season. 


He gained recognition playing mixed doubles tennis with his sister. The competed together in the 2005 Indiana State Open.


He was named Horizon League Player of the Year while at Butler University in 2010.

He has a twin sister named Heather Hayward. In 2014, he married Robyn Hayward. He and Robyn have three daughters named Bernadette, Charlotte, and Nora. In September 2020, they welcomed their first son named Gordon Theodore “Theo.”
