About Chick Corea

Jazz and fusion artist who composed many jazz standards. He helped establish the electric jazz fusion movement.


He attended Columbia University for one month and The Juilliard School for six, but was not satisfied with either, so he dropped out to pursue a career on his own terms.


He released Now He Sings, Now He Sobs in 1968, and in 1999, it was entered into the Grammy Hall of Fame.
