About Ching-Yun Hu

Won the 2008 Arthur Rubinstein International Piano Competition and the 2012 Golden Melody Award for Best Classical Album.


Her concerto debut was with the Poland Ca-pella Cracoriensis Chamber Orchestra when she was 13. She began studying in The Juilliard School Pre-College Division when she was 14.


She founded the Yun-Hsiang International Music Festival, located in Taipei. She became artistic director for the festival.

Her family placed a heavy emphasis on the holiday season. Because they were spread around the world, they made a point to get together at that one time of the year.
