Famous as the older brother of star NBA point guard Chris Paul, C.J. Paul is also notable as his brother s athletic manager.

Early Life of CJ Paul

Before finishing his college basketball career at the University of South Carolina-Upstate, C.J. Paul was a scholarship-holding basketball player at Hampton University in Virginia.

He and his then-not-yet-famous younger brother faced each other in a 2004 collegiate basketball game (between Wake Forest University, where Chris Paul played, and USC-Upstate, where C.J. was a student athlete).

The first child born to Charles and Robin Paul, he grew up in Winston-Salem and Clemmons, North Carolina, and later relocated to Los Angeles, California. He is the uncle of Chris and Jada Paul s children Chris Paul II and Camryn Alexis.
