About Claude Williamson

Jazz artist whose career intersected with many of the famous artists of his day, including Max Roach, Art Pepper, and Bob Cooper.


He was a student at the New England Conservatory of Music. His musical ambitions changed to jazz soon after he enrolled.


He recorded numerous albums beginning in 1978, primarily for Japanese labels.
