About Colleen Atwood

Academy award-winning costume designer known for her work on the 2002 film Chicago, 2005 s Memoirs of a Geisha, and 2010 s Alice in Wonderland. She has also been nominated for her work on Sleepy Hollow, Nine, and Into the Woods.


After studying painting at Cornish College of the Arts, she worked at a number of boutiques. She then began studying art at New York University where she happened upon a job as a production assistant on a film.


Her skills have also been used on television shows like the CW series Arrow, The Flash, and Supergirl.

Her daughters Tracey and Charlotte were born in 1987 and 1989 respectively.
