Remembered for her masterful recordings of such legends as Rachmaninoff, Mendelssohn, Johann Nepomuk Hummel, and Carl Maria von Weber.


She was the winner of the 1943 Naumburg Piano Competition.


She was a member of the Manhattan School of Music piano faculty as well as its Board of Trustees.
