Sister of R&B singer Dionne Warwick who won recognition for her collaborations and for her solo work, including Suspicious Minds.


She began singing backup to her older sister in the Gospelaires, going from gospel to country in the 1960s.


Her chart-topping soul songs spanned decades, from the 1963 “You re No Good,” later a major hit by Linda Ronstadt, to the early-1970s hit “She Didn t Know (She Kept on Talking).”
