Composed for theatre, film, and television, as well as for orchestras, choirs, string quartets, and small ensembles.


He and the Egil Kapstad s Trio worked with the Norwegian Melodi Grand Prix as a small orchestra in 1965.


He was hired by the Musikkonservatoriet in Kristiansand to teach jazz history and improvisation.
