American actor, performer, and writer who is best recognized for his recurring role on the series Broad City as well as his work as an Executive Story Editor on the Fox series New Girl. He is also know for his web-series Haunting Renditions where he performs and transforms infamous songs in ballad-like renditions. 


He started his career contributing content to the Funny or Die series Billy on the Street. He then started writing for VH-1 s Best Week Ever series and gained further attention as a writer on the series Younger featuring Sutton Foster and Hilary Duff. 


He is also known for having started the blog My Parents Were Awesome which was eventually published into a book of essays by Random House in 2010.
