From 2007 to 2014, this newscaster worked for Los Angeles, California s KNBC station. She is also well known for her hurricane season coverage while a reporter for Miami, Florida s WSVN 7 channel.


After earning a degree in broadcast journalism from California State University-Fullerton, she completed her meteorology certificate at Mississippi State University. She subsequently began working for Los Angeles KCBS-TV station and Bakersfield s and Fresno s respective KGET-TV and KGPE-TV stations.


The men s magazine FHM named her the most attractive American newscaster of 2006.

She was born in the Philippines and raised in Southern California. She and her husband, Ryan Nuveman (the brother of Olympic Gold medal-winning softball player Stavey Nuveman), welcomed a son in 2011 and a daughter in 2014.
