About Bunny Gibson

Actress who is famous for having headlined the TV program American Bandstand as a dancer from 1959-1961. She would later go on to have roles in films The Back-Up Plan, Silence Speaks, and Ruth, as well as a litany of guest starring TV roles. 


She initially auditioned for American Bandstand at age 13 and remained until she was 15. She was featured in a litany of teen magazines, including 16 and Teen Screen, during her time on the show.


She initially auditioned for American Bandstand so that she could meet her favorite singer of the day, Bobby Rydell. She appeared in three episodes of Compromising Situations between 1994 and1995.
