Motorcycle racer who set eight land speed records during his influential career. His life served as the inspiration for the 2005 film “The World s Fastest Indian.”


He was raised on a farm and satisfied his need for speed by racing horses.


Indian Motorcycles created a custom-built bike called “The Spirit of Munro” in his honor in 2013.
