About Connor Jaeger

Competition long distance swimmer who is known for having placed 6th in the 1,500 meter freestyle event at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. He first gained prominence during his prolific collegiate swimming career at the University of Michigan, where he finished as a 3-time All-American.


He began competitively swimming at age 8. He set five conference swimming records during his high school career.


He swam his then-best time in the 1,500 meter freestyle event on August 9, 2015 at Kazan. It was also the then-American record for the event.

He was born in Hackensack, New Jersey, and grew up in Fair Haven, New Jersey after moving there in 2003 with his family. He has one older sister named Dana.
