About Filiz Ahmet

Stage and screen actress most well known for her appearances in Turkish television series like Farewell Rumelia and Muhteşem Yüzyıl. She has also appeared in numerous films like Kendime Iyi Bak, Kadin Isi Banka Soygunu, and Zavedeni.

After watching the stage adaptation of Fyodor Dostoevsky s The Idiot, she fell in love with theater and by the age of six was acting on stage. As an adult, she graduated from medical school before attending the Academy of Fine Arts in Skopje in 2003.

She is multilingual and has become fluent in Macedonian, Albanian, Turkish, Swedish, English, Serbian, and Bulgarian.

Her mother worked as a prompter and her grandfather was a Macedonian stage actor and the co-founder of the Macedonian-Turkish Theatre. Due to the Yugoslav Wars, she and her family lived in Sweden until she was twelve.
