About Ian Madigan

Indigenous Australian rugby league player most famous as a member of the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs and Penrith Panthers in the National Rugby League. At 6 6″, he is known as one of the most physically dominant players in the NRL.


He lived on an Aboriginal mission in Forster before moving to Sydney with his family.


He was hit in the neck with a samurai sword by his cousin Beau at a family reunion in 2010.
