After serving as thirtieth Treasurer of the United States of America, this Republican Party politician held office as California State Treasurer.


In 1934, she launched an unsuccessful campaign for a United States Congressional seat from Utah. A decade later, she joined Utah s Republican Committee.


She belonged to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
