About Jana Schneider

Actress who starred as Helena Landless in the Broadway production of The Mystery of Edwin Drood. The role earned her a Drama Desk Award, as well as a Tony Award nomination.


She attended the University of Wisconsin and subsequently moved to New York City to pursue an acting career.


She became a photojournalist in the late 1980s and covered such monumental news stories as the destruction of the Berlin Wall and the fall of the Soviet Union.
