About John Harris

English artist known for his science fiction-themed illustrations and paintings. He illustrated Seeker, an acclaimed science fiction novel by author Jack McDevitt.


He studied art at Luton College and Exeter University. He later created artwork commissioned by Shell Oil and Philips Electronics.


His painting of a NASA shuttle launch was displayed at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C.
