Landing his first leading role as Dr. Will Halstead in Chicago Med, he previously held recurring roles in Shameless, The Newsroom, Longmire and NBC s other Chicago set shows Chicago P.D. and Chicago Fire.
He obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts in theatre from Marietta College before heading to the University of Missouri-Kansas City to get his Masters in Fine Arts.
