About Armando Manzanero

Remembered for such hit songs as “Mi Primera Grabacion,” “Nada Personal,” and “Somos Novios,” Manzanero rose to international fame as a songwriter and also had a career as a CBS International executive.

He wrote his first song, “Nunca en el Mundo,” when he was just fifteen years old. The composition was later recorded in over twenty languages. He released his debut album, the aptly titled Mi Primera Grabación (My First Record), in 1959.
