Born Sami Carter-Oberstone, she is a stylist, entrepreneur and model with DT Model Management who created the editorial and artistic collaboration website Sami Miro Vintage.
She obtained a BA in marketing from Santa Clara University before earning a master s in global entrepreneurship from the University of San Francisco. She began working for a start up company in 2010 which would become Sol Republic.
