About Sheila Young

Speed skater and cyclist who had won a gold, silver, and bronze medal in the 1976 Olympics in speed skating.


She trained as a youth at Detroit s Wolverine Sports Club, which has produced multiple Olympic athletes.


In 1973 and in 1976 she won world championships in both speed skating and cycling.
