About Filipe Machado

Brazilian football player who is known for his work with the Chapecoense club as a central defender. He is also known for having played as a member of the CSKA Sofia club. He unfortunately passed away as a victim of the LaMia Airlines Flight 2933 crash in November of 2016. 

Early Life of Filipe Machado

He began his youth career playing for Internacional but went on to make his senior debut for Fluminense in 2004. In 2009, he went on to play for Inter Baku where he made a name for himself in the Azerbaijan Premier League. 

He has won and received several awards and honors for his playing with the CSKA Sofia club including the Blugarian Supercup in 2008 and the Bulgarian A Football Group in 2007.

He was born and raised in Gravatai, Brazil.
