About Forrest Gregg

Offensive tackle who played in the NFL from 1956-1971, mainly for the Green Bay Packers aside for a brief stint with the Dallas Cowboys in 1971. He later coached for several teams including the San Diego Charges, Cleveland Browns and Cincinnati Bengals, among others.

Early Life of Forrest Gregg

He played college football at Southern Methodist University, and was selected 20th overall in the 1956 NFL draft.

After being selected to the Pro Bowl nine times, and the All-Pro first-team seven times, he was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1977.

Family Life

He was born in Birthright, Texas. He died from complications from Parkinson s Disease.
