About Gerrit Graham

American actor most famous for his long partnership with famed director Brian De Palma, appearing in films like Home Movies, Hi, Mom and Phantom of the Paradise. He is also a writer who worked on the screenplays for several animated Disney films, including The Little Mermaid and The Prince and the Pauper.


He was born in New York City and attended Columbia University in the late 60 s. He later worked as a rock music writer.


He wrote and performed the song “My Racin Heart” for the cult classic Cannonball! in 1976.
