Film and television actress most well known as China Lee on the long-running soap opera Days of Our Lives. She has also had prominent roles in films like Bamboozled, Jackie Brown, and How to Be a Player.


After studying human communication and dramatic arts at Howard University, she earned her big break starring in LL Cool J s music video for “Hey Lover.”


In 2000, she portrayed the warrior Amoria on the popular television series Xena: Warrior Princess.
