About Glenn Stromberg

Swedish former professional football player who is known for having played as a midfielder on the Atalanta and Benfica clubs as well as the Swedish national team. He is also known for having been a commentator for Sveriges Television after his professional career. 

Early Life of Glenn Stromberg

He started his youth career playing for the Lerkils IF club. He then made his senior career debut with the IFK Goteborg club in 1976. He started playing for the Swedish national team in 1982. 

He has won several honors and awards with the Benfica club including the Primeira Liga in both 1982 and 1983 as well as the Iberian Cup in 1983 as well.

He was born and raised in Gothenburg, Sweden.

He was coached by fellow professional football player Lars Lagerback as part of the Swedish national team during the 2006 FIFA World Cup.
