About Haruichi Furudate

Japanese comic book and manga artist who is best recognized for their series Haikyu!!. They are also known for their series Playground in 2009 and Nisekoi and Haikyū Nisekyū!! from 2012. 


They first started gaining attention in 2008 when they won an award at the Jump Treasure Newcomer Manga Awards for their series King Kid in Weekly Shonen Jump. 


They are also known for having played volleyball in Junior High School as a middle blocker.
