About Herb Vigran

Character actor of film, television, and stage who played the recurring role of Judge Brooker on Gunsmoke from 1970 to 1975. He was also a radio personality, starring on The Damon Runyun Theatre in 1948, as Harry Horse.


He earned a law degree from Indiana University School of Law before deciding to pursue acting.


He made hundreds of television appearances on hit shows such as I Love Lucy, The Brady Bunch, and Perry Mason.
