About Hideki Kamiya

Former employee of Capcom and Clover Studio who would later work at PlatinumGames. He contributed to the original Resident Evil and directed Devil May Cry.


He received his first gaming system, Nintendo Famicom, during junior school. He applied for game developer jobs after graduating from college. He was declined from Sega before accepting at Namco.


He contributed to the stories for the Capcom games Viewtiful Joe 2 and Viewtiful Joe: Double Trouble! and was a director on Viewtifull Joe, Okami, Bayonetta and The Wonderful 101 and Scalebound.
