About Howard Beck

American journalist who is best known for his sports coverage of the NBA for the Los Angeles Daily News, the New York Times, and Bleacher Report. He is also known for hosting The Full 48 podcast. 


He started his career with the Los Angeles Daily News where he covered the Los Angeles Lakers. He then started covering the New York Knicks and the Brooklyn Nets for the New York Times before leaving in 2013 to join Bleacher Report at their national NBA writer. 


While attending UC Davis, he served as editor in chief of the California Aggie newspaper.
