About Ivor Prickett
Photographer who is known for his work with The New York Times covering the fight to defeat ISIS in Iraq and Syria. He is also known for his collection of photographs and written works called “The Battle For Mosul”. He shares his photos through Instagram for his over 110,000 followers.
He first began photographing the events in the middle east in 2009 when he started covering the Arab Spring uprisings in Egypt and Libya. He travelled throughout 2012 and 2015 and documented the Syrian refugee crisis throughout Europe.
He has won several awards for his photography including the POYI, Foam Talent, award and The Taylor Wessing Portrait Prize.
