About James Blake

English electro-pop singer-songwriter whose sophomore LP “Overgrown” won the Mercury Prize in 2013. He was nominated for Best New Artist at the 56th Grammy Awards. His hit song “King s Dead” features artists Jay Rock, Kendrick Lamar and Future, and was featured in 2018 s Black Panther.


He released his debut 12″, Air & Lack Thereof, in 2009.


He releases remixes under the pseudonym Harmonimix. Kanye West cited him as one of his favorite artists.
