About James Buckey

Guitarist who found fame as a member of the American indie rock act the Year, whose breakout album Loma Vista was released in 2009. His band s music has become frequently used in movies and television shows like Girls, Being Human and Underemployed. 


He grew up in the Jacksonville, Florida area and studied audio at Full Sail University.


His song “Hero” was featured in the Oscar-winning film Boyhood (2014) and subsequently became a top ten hit in countries like Australia.
