About James Hooper

British mountain climber rose to become one of the youngest Britons to climb Mount Everest in 2006. In 2014, he joined the TV program Non-Summit as a panelist. 


He met his friend Rob Gauntlett, who climbed Mount Everest with him, at the age of 11. The two friends always had dreams of climbing Mount Everest. 


He was awarded the Adventurers of the Year prize by National Geographic in 2008.
