About Jed Webster

Canadian musician most famous for singing and playing guitar and bass in the pop rock duo Take the Chance. He and bandmate Nathan Brown first gained attention with the parody song “From Sussex and I Know It,” which went viral in the summer of 2012. In 2017, he d go on to launch the Toronto-based band NEW CITY.


He grew up in Sussex, New Brunswick.


His first non-parody single with Take the Chance, “Dance Now,” was released in December 2013.
