About Jerome Kersey

Small forward best remembered for his years as a member of the Portland Trail Blazers and San Antonio Spurs, winning the NBA title with the Spurs in 1999. He died unexpectedly of a pulmonary embolism caused by a blood clot in February 2015 at the age of 52.

He attended the Division II school Longwood College, where he set school records for points, rebounds, blocks and steals.
