Scottish author and storyteller whose work focuses on the experiences of Scottish travelers. Her books include three autobiographies titled Jessie s Journey, Tales From The Tent, and Tears for A Tinker. 


She lived with her parents and seven sisters in a bus from the ages of five to 15.


In 2014, she led a campaign to save the Tinkers Heart, a monument in Argyll, Scotland.
