About Jim Pattison

Known best as the founder and Chief Executive Officer of the multi-industry and multi-billion dollar Jim Pattison Group, this Canadian entrepreneur donated a large percentage of his fortune to the Victoria Hospitals Foundation and other charitable organizations.


After graduating from high school, he worked for a railway company, a construction business, and a cannery before opening a successful automobile dealership.


In 2008, his name was included on Forbes magazine s list of the world s wealthiest people.
