About Joana Benedek

Famous for her Premios TVyNovelas-nominated work in the Mexican soap opera Amigas y Rivales, she is also notable for her role as antagonist Rosalia Alamo in Pecado de Amor, as well as for her supporting roles in the telenovelas Piel; Mujeres Enganadas; Hasta Que El Dinero Nos Separe; and Dos Hogares.


She made her telenovela debut in 1989, portraying Zoraida in Rubi Rebelde.


In the late 1990s, she modeled for a New York-based cosmetics distributor.
