About John Moody

American journalist who is known for having been the Executive Editor and Executive Vice President of Fox News. He is also known for his association with NewsCore where he was the Chief Executive Officer. 


He graduated from Cornell University in 1975 and began working for United Press International serving as the Moscow and Paris bureau chief. He then became the Vatican correspondent for Time and shortly after began his career with Fox News. He is known for having circulated internal memos to promote Fox s political bias in reporting. 


In 1992, he received the Inter-American Press Association Bartholomew Mitre Award for his interview with Cali cartel kingpin Gilberto Rodriguez Orejuela.

He was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He married his wife Alexandra and together they have two children, Kate and John Peter.
